Q. Are there restrooms/toilets along the way?

A. Yes, there are restrooms/toilets at several points along the route including our watering hole, the Perseverance (http://www.perseverancetavern.co.za/), the Company Gardens as well as hotels and restaurants along the way.

Q. Do you provide storage for our phones etc?

A. No, we suggest you leave luggage or valuables back at your hotel/B&B, or keep your items in a backpack.

Q. What should I wear and bring with me?

A. Dress comfortably and appropriately for cycling. We recommend that you wear seasonally appropriate clothing, not too loose, and closed-toe shoes. Don’t forget your camera and sunblock 

Q. What if I can’t keep up with the group?

A. Although we ride about 15km (9 miles), there are a dozen or so stops, the pace is leisurely, and stragglers are kept in the group with a tour guides.

Q. Do I need to make a reservation? And what is your cancellation policy?

A. In order to guarantee availability of rental equipment and guided tours it is wise to make a reservation ahead of time. To cancel your reservation, please call us 48 hours prior to the rental start date/time. There is a 24-hour no refund cancellation policy, rain/wind cancellation permits you to receive a full refund or credit for another time and date. To make a reservation please click here.

Q. Are gratuities/tips included in the price?

A. Gratuities/tips are not included in the tour price. If you’re happy after participating in one of our tours, our guides greatly appreciate tips!

Q. Do you have bike baskets?

A. Currently we do not have baskets installed on our bikes and suggest you bring a backpack.

Q. Do you have water bottle holders on the bikes?

A. Yes we do!

Q. Do you sell water, beverages, or snacks?

A. No, we don’t but we stop at various coffee shops and watering holes along the way.
